Wafy Labs

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This policy explains what information Wafy Labs ("we", "us") handles on this website and in our products, and why. We keep data collection to the minimum each product needs.

Information you send us

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, topic and message. We use them only to read and reply to your message. The form is delivered through Formspree, a third-party form service, which processes the submission on our behalf.

Information collected automatically

  • Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and requested pages, for security and reliability.
  • This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends a request to Google's servers when a page loads.
  • We do not require accounts on this website, and we do not show ads.

Our products

  • Hishab Ledger stores your records on your own device. We do not receive your ledger data. Backups and exports are files that you control.
  • WafyDev tools run in your browser. Items such as notes are kept in your browser's local storage on your device.
  • WafyShield checks the public response headers and certificate details of the address you submit, in order to create a report.
  • WafyURL stores the links you create and basic click statistics so it can show you analytics.
  • AstroWafy retrieves public data from NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day API.

Individual products may publish extra details on their own sites.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run the website and products (such as hosting and form delivery), and when the law requires it.

Retention and your choices

We keep contact messages only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the conversation. To ask us to access or delete your information, send a message through the contact page.

Children

Our website and products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as our products change. The date above shows the latest revision.
